Dr. Ecklund is a North Carolina native who currently serves patients in Charlotte and Cornelius. Dr. Ecklund was motivated to go into medicine after participating in a Girls in Science program in middle school. The program highlighted the vast underrepresentation of women in science and inspired a lifelong interest in biology and medicine. Dr. Ecklund enjoys the opportunity to treat women in all stages of life, providing excellent, individualized and compassionate care. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, exploring local cuisine and hiking the national parks with her family.
