Catherine Ohmstede, MD, is committed to providing quality medical care for her patients and the Charlotte community. She gives annual physicals to homeless children at A Child's Place, is a past president of the Charlotte Pediatric Society and has participated in fundraising efforts for Pat's Place and the Ronald McDonald House, organizations devoted to caring for children. Dr. Ohmstede believes that quality care should start at birth and has a special fondness for newborn care, working to build lasting relationships with parents and caregivers from a child's first visit. When she is not working, Dr. Ohmstede and her husband, David, a pediatric cardiologist, enjoy reading, music and exploring the outdoors with their two children.
