I am a pediatric nurse practitioner with years of nursing experience in hospital and primary care environments. \n I spent the first six years of my career working as a registered nurse in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) before joining Dilworth Pediatrics in 2016. In 2018, after earning a master's degree in nursing from Duke University and becoming a certified lactation consultant, I began my career as a nurse practitioner, caring for newborns at a hospital nursery. \n In 2020, I rejoined Dilworth Pediatrics, where I enjoy watching our kids grow up. While taking care of newborns remains a great passion, I am happy and grateful to be back in a primary care setting, where I can care for children of all ages alongside amazing colleagues. \n I am originally from Tennessee (Go VOLS!) and moved to Charlotte in 2012. When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Daniel and our two children.
