Sabrina McCluskey, MSN, FNP-C
Owner | Primary Care Provider | Family Nurse PractitionerAttended North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and received Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2002 and graduated Magna Cum Laude and a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honors Society. I have been in the nursing profession for 19 years. Throughout this span, I had the opportunity to help women bring life into the world while working as a Labor and Delivery nurse. During that time, my desire spread to not just wanting to help pregnant women but individuals across all ages and genders. As a result, I enrolled in graduate school at East Carolina University in 2005 to obtain my Master of Science in Nursing to become a family nurse practitioner. I have worked as a family nurse practitioner for 13 years — providing high quality patient-centered medical care in rural health clinics where I helped the underserved, uninsured, and homeless. My experience also includes working in urgent care centers and for private medical practices for large hospital systems where I have performed age-appropriate history and physical examinations, diagnosis and treatment decisions for complex, acute and chronically ill patients from ages 3 to 65. Consulting and collaborating with physicians and other health care specialists, managing complex health problems, and making referrals as needed. Conducting patient/family education and counseling in the areas of health promotion maintenance and disease prevention. I hold certification as family nurse practitioner with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners since 2009.
