• Mr Severin

  Severin Romanov is the owner of The Goddard School of South Charlotte, nestled between Ballantyne and Blakeney. Severin and his wife Stella, bring a shared commitment and hands-on approach to creating a school rooted in community and care. Severin holds a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Miami and brings an extensive background in sports science and curriculum development, designing programs centered on movement, skill-building, and active engagement. The Romanovs are proud parents to two children: Annick, a Goddard School graduate whose positive experience inspired their journey to open their own school, and Luca, who will be among their first students. Deeply connected to South Charlotte, Severin is passionate about building joyful, hands-on learning environments where children develop confidence, teamwork, and real-life skills.

• Mrs Stella

  Stella Romanov is the co-owner of The Goddard School of South Charlotte and brings a strong background in leadership, operations, and team development. She holds an MBA from Florida International University and spent over a decade with a Fortune 50 company, where she led large, multi-unit teams and was known for building high-performing cultures centered on people, consistency, and growth. Stella and her husband, Severin, are proud parents to two children: Annick, a Goddard School graduate whose experience helped inspire their journey, and Luca, who will be among the first students at the new school. While Stella supports the school at a strategic level, her passion for creating positive, supportive environments for both families and teachers plays an important role in shaping the school’s foundation and long-term vision.

• Mrs Haley

  Haley Blanchard brings more than 25 years of experience in early childhood and elementary education to The Goddard School of South Charlotte. Originally from the Northeast, Haley built her career as a teacher, enrichment educator, tutor, and preschool director, creating learning environments where children feel confident, supported, and excited to explore the world around them. Before returning to the Carolinas, Haley previously lived in South Charlotte in the Ballantyne area, where she worked with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. After several years in the Northeast, life has brought her back to the community she once called home—making her role here feel wonderfully full circle. Haley is also the proud parent of three amazing children, a perspective that shapes the way she approaches school leadership. She understands firsthand the trust families place in a school community and is deeply committed to creating a place where children feel known, celebrated, and encouraged to grow daily.
