Our mission is to provide our clients with education, compassion, and exceptional customer service while providing their pets with the highest quality of veterinary care. Our services include wellness exams, sick visits, vaccinations, microchipping, health and travel certificates, laser therapy, x-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab, parasite testing and prevention, pet dental, general and advanced surgery including spay and neuter, laparoscopic gastropexy surgery, orthopedic surgery, ACL reconstruction, pain management, and more!   • Allan Dozier, DVM

    DVM & Owner

    Dr. Dozier was born in Opp, Alabama, and raised in Leesburg, Florida. He earned a BS in animal science at the University of Florida and his DVM at Auburn University. Dr. Dozier has more than 40 years of experience as a veterinarian. He has a special interest in surgery, including orthopedics. For many years, he has volunteered his services in caring for sick and injured wildlife and pet rescue groups. He enjoys fly fishing, woodworking, skiing, and gardening in his spare time.

  • Blair Smith, DVM

    DVM

    Dr. Smith received degrees in biology and Spanish at Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina. She then received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) at the University of Florida. Her professional interests include ultrasonic and radiographic imaging. In her spare time, Dr. Smith enjoys time with her husband and UF sports—GO GATORS! She has three dogs: Winston (standard poodle), Patsy (terrier mix), and Deacon (labradoodle)

  • Pat Gillis, DVM

    Dr. Gillis grew up in Illinois and received his BA in Asian studies from the University of Oklahoma. After a stint in the United States Navy, he received his DVM from Oklahoma State University in 1981, and then received his masters in large animal surgery from Texas A&M. His veterinary interests include wound repair, dermatology, surgery, and nutrition. In his spare time, Dr. Gillis spends time with his adult children, Andy, Kerry Anne, and Erin. He has two dogs: Zipper (Boston terrier) and Tank (French bulldog/pug).

  • Jennifer Bryant, DVM

    DVM

    Dr. Bryant received her B.A. in biology from Randolph-Macon Woman's College in 1990 and her DVM from Auburn University in 1994. Although a Virginia native, she has practiced in the Carolinas since graduating from veterinary school. She enjoys the varied nature of small animal practice and finds all areas interesting and rewarding. In her spare time, Dr. Bryant enjoys hiking, reading, traveling, gardening, and spending time with her husband, Marty, and their cat, Blaze Banshee.

  • Mara Michael, DVM

    DVM

    Dr. Michael grew up in Freeport, Long Island. She attended Hofstra University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in social sciences. She received her DVM from Michigan State in 2002. Her veterinary interests include dental therapy, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. She and her husband, Jason, live with their son, Spencer, and their animals, Jack, Sidney, and Scrappy (cats) and Woody (Cairn Terrier).

  • Amanda Hampton, DVM

    Dr. Amanda Hampton completed her undergraduate degree at Clemson University, majoring in Animal and Veterinary Sciences and minoring in Business Administration. She then graduated in 2020 from the North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Hampton strives to provide individualized, compassionate care for each of her patients. From the superficial layers of dermatology to the deep aspects of internal medicine, Dr. Hampton loves all aspects of veterinary medicine. During her free time, she enjoys practicing yoga, spending time with her family, hiking, and cuddling with her fur babies (Addie the hound, Bruno the chihuahua, and Remi the cat!)
