    Dr. Melissa Kakouras was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. She graduated from Piedmont High School in 1995. After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Psychology, she attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Dr. Kakouras strives to maintain the highest standard of care through continued education in dentistry and involvement in the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Association and the Charlotte Dental Society. She is also committed to earning her Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, which requires 500 additional hours of continuing education training.

    Dr. Tommy Kakouras was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. He graduated from Myers Park High School in 1992. After graduating from Emory University in Atlanta with a degree in Biology, he attended Boston University School of Dentistry where he earned his Doctorate in Medical Dentistry with Honors. Dr. Kakouras then continued his training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in a one year residency program. There, he earned a certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry with an emphasis on cosmetic and implant dentistry. Dr. Kakouras is licensed in Massachusetts and North Carolina.
