Cindy Wingate
Cindy Wingate started working at the KinderCare in Gastonia, NC as a two year old teacher. She worked in every classroom for five years before becoming the assistant director. In her sixth year she became director and has been doing that for almost 21 years. She has been the Director at four KinderCare Centers in the Charlotte area. Cindy originally wanted to work at KinderCare until her children went to school, and then go to school to become a nurse. Although her children are now adults, she realized that she loved working with children so much that this was going to be her career. Cindy loves her staff, families and the children at this center. She wants the children to have a wonderful learning experience, but nothing makes her happier than to go into a classroom to make the children laugh.

Ms. Lolita
Ms. Lolita is the infant room teacher. She became a KinderCare parent in 2001 and loved us so much she became a teacher. Lolita is that teacher who consoles, hugs and makes comfortable the parents who trust her to take good care of their most prized possessions. Separation is very hard for parents and infants but she makes it so much easier for both.

Ms. Becky
Ms. Becky has been a toddler teacher with KinderCare for Twenty years. She enjoys watching her toddlers learn and grow. To be a teacher in the same age group for that many years is quite an accomplishment. She had to start opening in the mornings because her children and parents knew drop off time with Ms Becky would be very smooth and the children would be happy to see her. She has her North Carolina Childcare Credentials plus several classes and many training hours in this field. She is CPR and First Aid certified along with SIDS. Becky has been married for thirty six years. She has two sons and two grandsons.

Ms. Lakenya
Ms. Lakenya has been with KinderCare for five years working as a two year old teacher. Two year olds can be a tough group to work with but Ms. Lakenya makes it look easy. She is a very loving and patient teacher with very powerful teaching skills. It is so hard to move these children up to the three year old room because they do not want to leave her.

Ms. Pearl
Ms. Pearl works in our preschool class. She is so dedicated to the education of children that she works with "More at Four" during the day and Kindercare in the afternoon. Ms. Pearl spends eleven hours a day teaching children. She walks in the room in the afternoon and the children all just about knock her down trying to give her hugs. Ms. Pearl loves working with her children.
