  Dr. Zohaib Munaf

  Pediatric Dentist

  Dr. Zohaib Munaf is from Tampa, FL. He pursued his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of South Florida. Dr. Munaf’s resilience and passion to gain and advance in scientific knowledge led him to earn a master’s degree from Rutgers University in Biomedical Science with a concentration in Oral Biology. He then obtained his doctorate from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. He was the president of the student body and earned The Student of the Year award along with Proctor and Gamble Leadership Award. Following graduation from NSU, he completed a two-year pediatric dental residency at NYU Langone in Brooklyn, NY. During his specialty training at NYU Langone, Dr. Munaf served as Chief Resident for the Department of Pediatric Dentistry. He received a wide range of skills working with children with comprehensive dental needs, special needs, as well as children with complex medical histories. Throughout his career, Dr. Munaf has stressed the importance of volunteering and giving back to the community and has been involved in programs such as Give Kids a Smile, Oral Cancer 5K Awareness, and community health fairs. Dr. Munaf strongly believes that compassionate and comprehensive treatment can develop positive oral habits in children. He also believes that the communication between the doctor, parent, and child is a crucial part of establishing a healthy mouth. His role is to work with each child and each family to identify the patient’s specific dental concerns and to develop a care plan that is efficient and effective for the patient. In his free time, Dr. Munaf enjoys playing basketball and football, traveling and spending time with friends and family. Dr. Munaf lives in Concord NC with his wife and two daughters. Dr. Munaf is excited to provide quality dental care for his patients at Kidz Dental South!

  Dr. Zenab Khan

  General Dentist

  Dr. Zenab Khan is from Boonton, NJ. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science and Master’s degree from Rutgers University. She then obtained her doctorate of dental medicine from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. Following graduation from NSU, she completed a general practice residency at Wyckoff Medical Heights in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Khan has a passion for serving the community and volunteers her time working with dental clinics and schools. Dr. Khan’s love and passion to bring smiles to children has limited her practice to pediatrics. She enjoys building patient rapport and providing a positive environment for her patients and parents through kindness, compassion, and trust. In her free time, Dr. Khan enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and being outdoors. Dr. Khan lives in Concord NC with her husband and two daughters.

  Dr. Manuel Lopez

  General Dentist

  Dr. Manuel Lopez is from Manhattan, NY. In 1979 he earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Cuba, he lived in Cuba for 20 years before moving back to New York and getting his Doctoral of Dental Science at New York University in 2000. In 2001 Dr. Lopez decided to move to the great state of North Carolina and has been here ever since. Dr. Lopez is a sports fanatic and enjoys to watching all sports especially the Yankees, The Giants, and the NY Knicks. He also loves to spend time with his family and enjoys the outdoors. Dr. Lopez loves music and you will always catch him singing or making up a beat at the office.
